Today was inspiring, it was lovely to meet some of the amazing midwives out there thinking about leadership! I am honoured you wanted me there to share my leadership journey 💙 I can’t wait to see some of these fabulous people in their next roles.

Looking after my bestie & her baby in 2017 (whilst pregnant myself) & then my baby claiming she will ‘consider’ being a midwife - that would be three generations of midwives if we kept it up, she’d be following in both grandmas shoes & her mummy’s! Maybe it’s in our blood 💙

Wonderful trip to Exeter (could have got to France faster though..) I met some amazing staff & students at the local hospital, observing how a culture toolkit can be delivered to front facing staff. Feeling lucky in my new role to get my education, leadership & culture fix in one

Supporting our workforce to be the best!

Today was day 1/3 of an amazing digital clinical placement focusing on postnatal bereavement care, learners spent the day hearing from families, professionals & their peers. It’s been a long time in the making & I’m excited to see the evaluation & grateful to everyone involved

Day 2 what an emotional rollercoaster. I can’t believe how hard people have worked to pull this together, we have universities, hospitals, education teams, charities, parents! It is inspiring to be part of this group. I don’t know what I will do when tomorrow is over
