first-timer in buenos aires as a digital nomad? here’s a starter pack πŸ‡¦πŸ‡·βœˆοΈ – flights from europe to latam are packed, get upgraded in advance (30h economy is no joke) – connect to a free wi-fi at the eze airport – do not walk the cross walk to find an uber – grab a claro prepago

I'm so damn thrilled to work directly with the EF to solve payments and bring Ethereum into the real world. At our cores, the entire peanut team are decentralization maxies and unbelievably ETH aligned. That's why we chose Arbitrum and not Base, that's why we're open source,

the crazy thing about building Peanut is seeing how broken tradfi is. we recently launched QR code payments in Argentina. it's gone expontential but yesterday, we had a 2h outage not because Arbitrum; blocks kept finalizing at 300ms not because our AA wallet; every userop

FTX. In 2014-2021 I was disenchanted because CEXes were eating Ethereum and Bitcoin. Self-custody is imo the biggest financial innovation since custody. When FTX happened I felt it was a chance to jump in and build with decentralisation and self-custody in mind.

stablecoin cards do reduce any complexity here: it's still You -> PSP -> Your Bank -> correspondent bank A -> B, C -> Corresponding Bank B -> PSP -> Payee Peanut does: You -> Peanut -> Local Rails -> Payee
