@DrJRubenstein Sarah Temkin 1001cuts - the film True in every aspect of medicine. Not just surgery. And the only thing wrong with this video is the female doc would be adding more please/thank you/sorry to every request to garner support and still be perceived this way.

This is hilarious yet sadly reminiscent of so many of our experiences. Correspond with real life and our findings in this paper: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31144105/ Thanks @DrJRubenstein and to @HopeFeldmanMD for sharing it with me! WomenInThoracicSurg WomenSurgeons #ILookLikeASurgeon

FINALLY watched 1001cuts - the film. Proud of Sarah Temkin for highlighting so much of what we all know and experience. So much still unsaid. So many nuances to discrimination. 💯 agree with how this will not stand for the next generation. Nope. No ma'am. Proud to lead an amazing fellowship.

OK. Besides the fact that I need to get over that I hate my recorded voice (I really sound like this?) I am jammed to think that this podcast could help patients with #endometriosis get earlier referrals and better care. Thank you The Curbsiders! Also 💕 Xiao Jing (Iris) Wang, M.D. Endo What?

Analysis of 25K residents demonstrates increasing intersectionality is associated w/ surgery training attrition. UIM women were most at risk. Faculty & resident diversity appear to be associated. Annals of Surgery Heather Yeo MD #MedTwitter WomenSurgeons journals.lww.com/annalsofsurger…
