NEW: U.S Dept of Education funding is a substantial part of public school budgets in KY, suppling over $1 billion a year for: - school meals - low-income students - children with disabilities - and more. Cutting these funds would harm our kids, our schools and our families.

Working people deserve a Department of Labor that works for them. We will stand up to anyone trying to harm working people. That starts with Department of Government Efficiency.

To build a better future for our kids, we have to build up public education, not tear it down.

Federal funds are vital to every KY school district. But because it's especially targeted to kids with the greatest needs, this funding is most important in higher-poverty districts, most of which are rural in KY. This map shows the districts that could be hit hardest by cuts.
