Banned and Restricted Announcement today is what you'd have done immediately after PT MH3. Having played a lot of Modern recently I think Grief being banned is suspect and it should have been banned when Scam was the best deck. The One Ring will be banned next almost certainly.

Went 4-4 in the AxionNow Invitational. Played Boros Energy in Modern (3-2) and had a lot of experience in DSK draft but sadly went 1-2 in it. Disappointed with my draft result. Modern result is what it is - 4/5 matches were mirrors.

Got 13lade out of retirement to play the Draft Cup at AxionNow Anniversary event and he even then beat me in the MH3 draft! Here he is enjoying his victory and sleeves with a happy pup on them. Thanks to Myra00🇳🇿🇯🇵🇮🇹 for the sleeves! #apexsleeves

Finished the Elden Ring DLC over the holidays and so had time to play some Vintage Cube. Second in the 64-player draft last night (stayed up way too late playing it). RW in first draft, RB in second.

The Sanctum Showdown mode on MARVEL SNAP is a really interesting take on the game and I think it might actually be better than the regular ladder mode.

Just the one box for me in this Arena Direct. I really like getting to play limited for some stakes and I also really like DSK Draft. Played 6 drafts total, getting gems back in 2, scrubbing 3 and getting the one box with the deck pictured.

Finished #KingdomComeDeliverance2 after 127 hours playtime. Tried to completed as many of the quests and tasks as I could find but probably missed some. Really enjoyable game - lives up to the quality of the first one and expands on it. Warhorse Studios did an amazing job.

Won one of the 64-player Vintage Cube drafts tonight. First draft was the Bant Balance deck with the Nadu. Second deck was Black with splashes. Opening lots of power was just good drafting.

Took 2nd in one of the 64-player drafts today. Grixis Flash in first draft, extremely one-sided games. RB mid in top8 draft, losing to Esper Lurrus in the finals.

Won another 64 player draft this evening. Have played 6 of these drafts now and lost R1 in 3 of them but won 2 and came 2nd in another. First draft was obviously absurd with all the power (UW deck). Second draft I like how I drafted but the build was a bit off (Domain).

For me the most confusing part of the banning stream yesterday is the idea that 60 card competitive formats should be optimized for casual players rather than enfranchised players. Aren't a huge percentage of casual players playing Commander rather than buying $1k Modern decks?

Went 6-2 in the Mega Modern with Jeskai Ascendancy, 14th place. Played the Modern seat in the trios with Alexander Gordon-Brown 🔸 (Standard) and Sean Goddard (Tarkir Sealed). We went undefeated. Getting a token! (Also spent my prizes tickets on 'all your sleeves please'-got 32 packs)
