Very privileged to take part in the Remembrance Ceremony at Nottingham today. Huge thanks to Flt Lt Helen Payne, the CFAVs, and RAF Air Cadets from 138 (1st) Nottingham Squadron who supported. Special thanks to Sgt Sharman for so ably handing me my wreath. We will remember them.

The Squadron attended #Remembrance Parade at the City of #Nottingham War Memorial. Our cadets performed admirably with some junior cadets acting as wreath bearers for local dignitaries. Gp Capt Dale, OC RAF Syerston, commented on the smart turn out & commitment of the cadets.

Fabulous first day at the Squadron Christmas Camp at Walesby Forest The cadets have enjoyed the indoor climbing wall, escaping the 'cave maze', leadership, and laser clay shooting with even more fun activities to come tomorrow! 🎄 🎁

Over the weekend 2 cadets joined others from South & East Midlands Wing Air Cadets to complete their initial training on the L144 Cadet Small Bore Target Rifle. Congratulations to Cdt Sophie Attenborough who represented South & East Midlands Wing Air Cadets are Regional Cross Country today. After completing a cold and gruelling course Cdt Attenborough finished in the top 6 for her age category, helping the Wing secure a third place finish. 🥉 Sports - South & East Midlands Wing RAFAC

Sgt Dixon attended the Wing Shoot today at RAF Wittering She successfully passed the first two firing practises on the L98A2 and gained her Trained Shot marksmans badge.
