Absolutely love my #doitforLily hoody. 💜 So proud to wear this in memory of a beautiful young lady, killed in a road traffic collision - and her amazing mum's tireless dedication and campaigning. Leanne Newton - love you so much. X

Hit & Run on a cyclist. Driving with no vision and cuts the junction in the wrong lane. Asks if I'm ok and drives off 3 seconds later. Driver sent on a driving course.

I am determined to improve safety on our roads for all. Today, I met with the Minister for Roads Lilian Greenwood, Lucy from RoadPeace and brilliant local resident Diane, a road safety advocate. Next, I will submit a response to the government’s road safety strategy.

Great to see our doves installed at Redditch Arrow Valley Park until 27th May, thanks to a partnership with Redditch Borough Council and Rubicon Leisure. They remember crash victims and highlight the need to reduce road danger. 💜🕯 CFG - more than law RoadPeace

Yesterday I met with RoadPeace in Parliament. They say road deaths and injuries are not inevitable, and I agree. Crashes are not inevitable, and deaths are not acceptable.

Such a special day with our RoadPeace West Midlands and West Mercia family, CFG - more than law and St. Martin's Bham. Our 4th annual walk and talk for families bereaved through road death. So proud of our group smashing 7 miles on a hot day. Love them all so much. 💜

Tomorrow I’m on Good Morning Britain at 8.15am with Lucy Harrison from RoadPeace. It’s bittersweet- a chance to call for urgent driving law reform, but only because my daughter Lily-May was killed in a preventable crash. Enough is enough! #RoadSafety #DrivingLaw
