My 1st interest in the Assembly Rooms came in 2021 when I was High Sheriff. I went on a tour with The Belfast & Dublin Guided Walking Tours about the history of the Enlightenment period. In Dec 21, I proposed, with SF, BCC explore buying the building. Hoping it can happen this week. 🤞
