180 Degrees’ Executive Director Dan Pfarr testified in front of the Minnesota State Senate to advocate for funding to address the racial disparity of youth using shelter services in the Rochester and Saint Cloud area. Every child deserves an opportunity to achieve their goals!

Robbie Robinson spent years in and out of prison. He faced discrimination finding housing and applying for jobs, inspiring him to launch 180 Degrees. We honor his work by holding equity at the center of the work we do, not accepting the status quo, and tackling systemic issues.

It’s not often we get to come together from across Minnesota to get to know each other and talk about why we chose 180 Degrees! While many of us work in different programs, we are united by our mission to create safe spaces that honor each individual’s healing journey.❤️

Thank You herARTS in Action for giving the youth of 180 Degrees’ St. Cloud Youth Shelter an opportunity to express themselves through art. Herarts in Action has been working with the staff of Saint Cloud Youth Shelter to make a mural that youth can add to when they leave. Amazing!

Following incarceration, the needs of individuals reentering their communities are profound and wide-ranging. April is Second chance Month. Over 9,500 men have accessed safety, housing support, and employment placement at our Clifton Place program in Minneapolis.#secondchance

We are so close to finishing a large construction project at Brittany’s Place that will create more space for youth with an additional kitchen area, bathrooms and shower! The design has been thoughtfully laid out to be a space where girls will feel comfortable and safe.
