The PPU from the North Mon recently presented GOC 1 Bde with a copy of an epic poem by Caoimhin Mac Unfraidh and a portrait by EveParnell celebrating the 3 consequential Lords Mayor of Cork in 1920.

1 Bde continues to support HSESouthWest and HSE Mid West in difficult weather conditions. To date, 251 soldiers have conducted 72 separate operations, bringing patients to hospitals, essential medical staff to work, and collecting critical prescriptions. #strengthenthenation

1 Brigade continues to support local authorities and communities in weather affected areas. Since Sunday, over 400 of our personnel have completed more than 100 operations. Today, soldiers from 1 Brigade Artillery Regiment and Collins Barracks provided mobility assistance on routes near Ballydesmond.
