My 14yr old just back from his D of E expedition, so I asked him what he fancied after trekking 17 miles in full gear. Steak, he said. So picked up a juicy sirloin from the farmers market, and we cooked it together, and ate it together, and we had a fine time. 🌞

Wonderful catching up with a friend over a fabulous breakfast spread of Jordanian/Palestinian food at Paddington's Mihbaj - chicken musakhan, makdous (pickled aubergines with walnuts), feta haydari, labneh, ful and hummus. A real treat! πŸ«’

A brilliant meal at Norman Musa's Makan Makan Malaysian pop-up at Clapham's The King & Co (and wonderful surprise to see Karla Zazueta in the kitchen too!). The food was just fabulous - telur (eggs with sambal), popiah (spring rolls), Malay kari with tempeh, and beef rendang. 🌢️
