Last month, we spent the day at RAF Wittering for South & East Midlands Wing Air Cadets Wing Field Day, competing against other squadrons in the wing at drill, first aid, leadership, aviation, cyber, shooting and space; placing 14th overall in the wing! 🎉 #lookingfine209

🩹Bronze First Aid Weekend!🚑 Last weekend, cadets from 209 and 2195 (Long Eaton) Sqn Royal Air Force Air Cadets completed a St John Ambulance England Youth First Aid course, where they learned valuable skills including treating bleeding, CPR, primary survey, choking and more. #lookingfine209

Last month, 11 cadets participated in a parade at Nottingham castle to commemorate the anniversary of the death of Captain Albert Ball VC, a British fighter pilot in WW1 and the country's leading flying ace at the time. #lookingfine209

Last month, 6 cadets joined 116 other cadets from across the organisation on a WW1 battlefields tour to Belgium and France. The trip involved visits to a number of museums, memorials and CWGC cemeteries, and a parade through the Menin gate. #lookingfine209 #wewillrememberthem
