One of the challenges last night was to build a comms tower, at least 1.2m tall with 2 dishes at least 30cm apart. Our @TG4Info SI was itching to get involved having built lots of actual towers, but the Cadets nailed it, with some interesting construction techniques! #STEM

You can't beat the view out of a hangar as the aircraft are put to bed at the end of a days flying. Last night we had a behind the scenes tour of hangar 3, belonging to Halton Aeroclub. Cadets were put to work helping bring the aircraft in. Halton Aero Club RAF Halton

Seeing two of these tucked away in the hangar last night had the Staff smiling at the memories of flying in these when we were Cadets. Waddling out with the parachute under your bum! The Cadets thought it was hilarious that your parachute was also your seat 🤣 Halton Aero Club

2 hours just isn't long enough at the Trenchard Museum and James McCudden Air Power Centre at RAF Halton, we'll definitely be going back! We loved finding out about the history of the RAF Station we are proud to call home.
