In one week, I say goodbye to Rwanda and relocate to Tanzania. After 4½ unforgettable years, I’m reflecting on the wildlife that made this chapter so special. I’ll be sharing some of my favourite images in the days ahead. First up this Malachite Kingfisher. 📍Kigali, Rwanda.

Next up, one of my favourite turacos—the Ross’s Turaco. Almost prehistoric-looking, my daughter calls it the “primary colour bird.” That vivid red on the wings? It’s from turacin, a rare pigment unique to turacos. 📍Nyarutarama, Kigali, #Rwanda #Birds #NaturePhotography

Thanks to continued conservation efforts in Rwanda, Grey Crowned Cranes are making a strong comeback. Once severely threatened, these iconic birds are thriving again in the wild. 📍 Umusambi Village, Kigali, Rwanda. #Birds #NaturePhotography #Rwanda 🪶

After four unforgettable years, it’s time to say goodbye to #Rwanda. A country of resilience, beauty, and ambition. It’s shaped me deeply, both professionally and personally. #FarewellRwanda #GoFarGoTogether
