Dr. Aja Murray: “It’s very difficult to understand the drivers of Agesim if you cannot measure it accurately in it’s context”

Dr. Murray: “The WHO Ageism Experiences Scale was developed to fill this gap and is in the process of validation all over the world. It’s a 15-item scale measuring people's ageism experiences. It’s Translated into UN languages and others”

Dr. Murray: “most work done was focused on the validation of these scales, however, it also included Examining the ageism experiences of Ukrainian refugees in Moldova, Testing intervention to reduce ageism in Serbia, is also included as part of the 3LC study and more”

Dr. Murray: “Good measurement is essential to combatting ageism! Good measurement means: - Reflects the multidimensional nature of ageism - That it impacts all age groups That it affects countries all over the world”
