The number Seven derives much of its meaning from being tied directly to God’s creation of all things.
The word 'created' is used 7 times describing God’s creative work (Genesis 1:1, 21, 27 three times; 2:3; 2:4).
Seven is used 735 times in the Bible (54 times in the book of Revelation alone). If we include 'sevenfold' and 'seventh' the total is 860.
The number 7 is the foundation of God's word. There are 7 days in a week and God's Sabbath is on the 7th day.
In the book of Revelation there are 7 churches, 7 angels to the 7 churches, 7 seals, 7 trumpet plagues, 7 thunders and the 7 last plagues.
The first resurrection of the dead takes place at the 7th trumpet, completing salvation for the Church.
In Revelation 13:18, the number of man and beast is revealed …that flawed number is 666 (7 is perfection) there's only been 1 - Jesus Christ
The number 1 is only divisible by itself. It is independent of any other numerals yet composes them all.
In the Bible ...the number 1 symbolizes the unity and primacy, and the oneness of the Godhead (the Father, the Son & the Holy Spirit).
Jesus, by his singular sacrifice, made possible the forgiveness of our sins. He is the one Mediator and Shepherd (1Timothy 2:5; John 10:16).
The first of the ten commandments, on which all others are founded, is "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." (Exodus 20:3).
Between his birth and the beginning of his ministry at age 30, the scriptures record only one sentence Christ spoke... (Luke 2:49)
Jesus is called the firstborn of every creature (Colossians 1:15) and the firstborn of the dead (Colossians1:18).
Jesus is called the "first of the firstfruits" (1Corinthians 15:20, 23) ...He is the first of MANY to be resurrected to eternal life.
Christ refers to himself as the FIRST or Alpha (the first letter - Greek language) several times in the book of Revelation (1:11, 17, 22:13)
Peter tells us that it is through the name of Jesus Christ and Him alone that a person can receive salvation and live forever (Acts 4:10-12)
There is NO OTHER NAME in all creation by which mankind can connect to the one TRUE God and fulfill their destiny (just one name... Jesus).
There is only ONE true spiritual body of believers where all share in one spirit (the Holy Spirit).
True Christianity entails one hope, one faith, one baptism, one Lord and Savior and one Father (Ephesians 4:4-6).
"...the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome..." (Deuteronomy 10:17)
