OTD, 1943: the 82nd Airborne arrived in Casablanca - becoming the first Airborne Division to deploy overseas. The next two years would set a new standard for what it means to be a Paratrooper, and shape the same Airborne legacy we'll celebrate this month at All American Week.

Our Families jumping from the 34’ Tower gives them a small taste of what it’s like to be Airborne. CSM(r) Henderson, AA HoF Class of 2025, had 3 generations of his family at the Tower today. USAAAS will have the tower open until 1500 today for friends and family to jump. #aaw25

During the #AAW25 Division Memorial Ceremony, we pause to honor the memory of our Paratroopers who made the ultimate sacrifice. Their courage and service will never be forgotten.

“Ordinary people whose lives became extraordinary expressions of duty.” We honor those who fought and died for our Nation. We pray for a meaningful Memorial Day to our Gold Star Families and the friends of those no longer with us. We say their names and keep their memory alive.
