The Brethren of Vastern Lodge No.8977 directed their focus on the solution to holding their meetings when their normal venue was unavailable, they certainly avoided being consumed by the less than welcome circumstances of Covid-19. Cricklade was their answer.

On Thursday 29th July Freemason Johnathan Bourne Vastern Lodge No. 8977, Province of Wiltshire became the first freeman of Royal Wootton Bassett in recognition and enduring gratitude of his service as Town Clerk for 32 years. Wiltshire Freemasons Philip Bullock offered congratulations on this well deserved honour.
