If there’s one thing I love as a primary school teacher it’s writing moderation… not! Thought I’d have a rant about it!

First day back after half term yesterday to a trip to Kew Gardens with the lovely Year 2s. Yes it rained, but it didn't stop me filling up my card. Who knew sticking on a bit of double sided tape could be so fun!

This half term reading just clicked for the seven year old. We'd find her in nooks all around the house just reading. Amelia's dad caught her in deep in a book. Look at that concentration!

This morning at 6:30am as I read Eid prayers at the mosque, my thoughts were with those children and their surviving families who are still suffering. They will not get the opportunity to celebrate with loved ones let alone eat a meal. 💔 🇵🇸 Eid Mubarak.
