We concluded our day yesterday with a session on “Human-environmental interactions and vegetational change”. Many thanks to all speakers! The board of directors also had their first meeting and heard three bids to host our 59th meeting in 2027….! #AASPTPS2025

Yesterday we had a very full “Paleozoic and Mesozoic Palynology”. Many numerous and great speakers. This was followed by a talk in the “Role of paly in carbon sequestration” session. The Conference Dinner followed in a beautiful beach front restaurant #AASPTPS2025

A fantastic end to sessions yesterday which ended with a talk on next year’s annual meeting location, Trelew, Argentina by Paula Narváez of IANIGLA - CONICET . The student talk and poster awards were also given out to deserving participants with some very strong competition #AASPTPS

Today we finished the conference off in style looking at Palaeozoic and Miocene stratigraphy of the Rabat region. We all then enjoyed a late lunch farmhouse style with plenty of tagines, kofta and mint tea! #AASPTPS2025
