We can finally share our super secret and awesome project! Definitely the most fun I've had working with mike Nikita and Inkyu Oh. Only possible thanks to Rodríguez-López Electrochemistry Lab at Illinois and Charles Schroeder leadership in a highly collaborative place such as @BeckmanInst.
We didn’t hold great expectations to see something fundamentally new in lead-acid batteries, but chemistry acts in mysterious ways ❤️ Chemistry at Illinois work by Abdelilah Asserghine and Aravind Baby et al using SECM and the redox-active spin trap, enjoy! pubs.rsc.org/en/content/art…
More on the lead-acid battery saga by Aravind Baby and Abdelilah Asserghine in collaboration with Huimin Zhao - desulfation and echem recovery of lead using benign amino acid based ionic liquids! Chemistry at Illinois ChBE Illinois sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
