April is Sexual Assault Awareness month. Women facing homelessness are often the victims of sexual assault. Understanding these intersections helps one better understand what the women staying at the Barrett House have faced.

Many of us here at the RGCDC and SINC interacted with Jennifer Riordan often and we are profoundly saddened by this tragic loss. She was an integral part of the Nonprofit sector and her contributions will be sorely missed. Our prayers and thoughts are with her family.
