Each week I’m asked what is APD doing about drug possession. Year to date our hard working officers at Albuquerque Police Department have arrested and charged 1931 people for possession of drugs. Help me in thanking these officers for their hard work. Let’s give them the credit they deserve.
Our department stands with Virginia Beach Police Department during this difficult time losing 2 officers. Through our partnership with Major Cities Chiefs Association we mourn with you and send our support. Our thoughts go out to the families of the officers, your community and all those who knew and cared for them.
