This weekend we go to Manningtree to the Red Lion. Here, we'll be holding the November ACB monthly meeting and AGM, where we'll plan what the club is doing over the next 12 months (and drink beer). 🍻

Early start today. Up preparing agenda minutes and overview of the year for today's Anglian Craft Brewers AGM. 1118 train to Manningtree, then a walk to the Red Lion, lunch, finish up. Then some crackpot has suggested we go to Harwich for the CAMRA sausage throwing festival. 🍻

Some interesting news in the ever changing world of homebrew. Looks like the good people at CML are selling up and homebrewers are continuing the business as a going concern. 🍻

Really good showing at the National Homebrew competition this weekend. Well done to.all that placed and took part. Judges and organisers.

Next week we visit Mauldons Brewery for a brewery tour and clone beer challenge of their beautiful stout, Black Adder. Can't wait.

Last months Essex Mid-week was at the Victoria Inn. Must have been a good one because we totally forgot to post pics from the evening. An intimate affair, but it gave us a great chance for akne technical talk. With Carbonic Maceration being one topic of conversation. 🍻 📸

And we are go for the 2025 Shed Festival. The keg bar is now ready, the lines are balanced, for the perfect pour. Rich tapped the casks, we had a tiny quality check. No complaints. Now all that remains is to have a great day. See you from 12 Victoria Inn.

Another successful Shed Festival yesterday, beers this year were exceptional, big thanks to all the brewers, if you came down for the afternoon, thanks for your support. All the beer went by the end of the evening, leaving many satisfied thirsty ticket holders.
