AC 11 TC Roberson 3 Cougars took on the Rams in the 1 round of the playoffs Alyssa Chapman & laney wike each had 3 hits. Laney gave up 1 hit on mound. A Special guest joined us in the dugout, Darrell Adkins was honored with a sign ball. Adkins was 2018 Head Coach State champ!

AC 2 South Meck 0 Laney Wike pitched a 4-hit shutout and the Lady Cougars advanced in the state softball playoffs. Wike struck out 6 batters and walked 2. Freshman Kensley Davis had the game’s only run-batted-in.. Laney Russell went 3-3 and scored a run for Alexander Central.

Junior 2b Kenzie Church blasted a Walk-Off Grand Slam Homer. AC 9 South Caldwell 5. The contest resumed on Wednesday with the score tied at 5 in the 7th inning after lightening forced the action to halt on Tuesday. AC now 21-4 and will face Marvin Ridge on Friday at 7pm.
