Andover Central lost a great one today in Coach Rita Frakes. An amazing lady that changed so many lives over her 41 years in education and coaching. One of the greats that will be missed by so many. Jaguar Nation loves you Coach Frakes! Till next time!

Coach Frakes was the model of consistency, passion and a fun loving spirit for a long time at Andover Central HS. While we are so sad to have lost a good one, the best we can do now is continue to represent her Jaguar spirit that she gave us each day. #rootinforrita

2/3 Rita began teaching and coaching at Clearwater in 1982 before leaving for ACHS in 2005. She impacted thousands of students in her Art classroom and as an athletics coach. She was on the coaching staff in 1997 for CHS Softball’s inaugural season.

3/3 Thank you, Rita for everything you’ve done for Clearwater, students, families, and our community. You will be greatly missed. 🙏💔

Coach Frakes was one of a kind. She led by example in her everyday approach to life. She was a WARRIOR! She will be missed, but most definitely never forgotten. Her spirit will live on in all of us at Andover Central and beyond. We have and always will be Rootin for Rita! #family
