Can’t believe Friday makes 20 years since Katrina hit. Was coaching at the University of New Orleans and lost a house and all possessions but was lucky to survive and move on. Many didn’t. There will always be an unlucky fraternity of those in New Orleans and the gulf coast.

20 years ago was one of my worst days of my life with Katrina hitting. For whatever reason our government left OUR people stranded and called them refugees instead of evacuees. We NEVER need to make this mistake again. Thoughts and prayers to all those impacted NOLA!
