Privileged to be speaking at WA School Nurses conference today to raise awareness of #POTS and #longCOVID amongst adolescents. #schoolnurses are at coal face of this epidemic and need better resources. Australian Government needs to fund patient bodies like Australian POTS Foundation to deliver these.
        >300000 people are expected to have #LongCOVID in Australia. #POTS is the major phenotype of this disorder. Still Aus. languishes with no #fundPOTS from Australian Government

New 🇦🇺 data from our POTS registry: teens & adults experience POTS differently. - Teens: worse orthostatic symptoms - Adults: more gut & bladder issues Both report = poor QoL. Proud to author this work. 👉 doi.org/10.5694/mja2.5… ADARC Dennis H Lau SAHMRI Australian POTS Foundation
