What an amazing day Friday was celebrating 25 years of World Book Day. Every class took part in live digital author events, including with Michael Rosen and Catherine Rayner, as well as different activities within school. We love reading💙 #WorldBookDay Children's Bookshow

A huge thanks to @Woodlandtrust and The Tree Council who donated beautiful native tree species to our school. KS2 have been digging holes and carefully planting the saplings. We're hoping these will help to create greater biodiversity in the area which is otherwise largely grass.

A HUGE well done to our lucky Renaissance UK & Ireland prize winners this half term. Both have won an amazing opportunity donated by @pafccommunitytr to attend a Roadshow free of charge. Thank you to our community showing their generous support for our reading drive St Stephens .

Today we were delighted to be joined and put through our paces by the elite High Jump Champion Robert Mitchell who is part of Sports For Champions UK (CIC) programme that visits schools to inspire, motivate and celebrate well-being and life's journey. He certainly did that!

Well done to our lucky half term Renaissance UK & Ireland prize winners. Both have won family tickets to visit Trethorne Leisure .What a fantastic treat for half term. A HUGE thank you to our local businesses for supporting our reading drive St Stephens
