Couldn’t agree more with this op-ed by ⁦Harin Contractor⁩ and others. Improving how benefits are delivered is critical. IRS has been underfunded for decades and will likely be responsible for monthly child allowances. The “how” needs attention ASAP vox.com/22287335/covid…

My vote: IRS. It administers the child credit now and since the child allowance is a one-year provision with a somewhat uncertain future, a successful roll-out is essential. Think IRS has better chance of accomplishing that goal.
