I much appreciated the opportunity in March to design & lead Exercise HOPE AGE in Geneva at #HNPW with UN Humanitarian & University of Glasgow Games and Gaming Lab. Using #SeriousGames we explored ways #humanitarian organisations may navigate the complex environments of a hypothetical major conflict.

Saddened to hear of the death of Sir Geoff Palmer - Chancellor & Professor Emeritus Heriot-Watt University Scotland’s first black professor & a real inspiration to very many. He received an honorary degree in 2022 from University of Glasgow for his work on the reperative justice program.


“We cannot change the past but we can change the consequences of the past” - Sir Geoff Palmer words are a testament to his human rights campaigning spirit. He was a guiding light offering advice and support to many including me. Thinking of his family at this sad time. RIP Geoff
