The Kazakhstan Economic Freedom Conference, held in Astana, featured a thought-provoking panel discussion on the development of the country's stock market, with AIFC Governor Renat Bekturov

According to the updated GFCI36 (Global Financial Centres Index) ranking, Astana has secured 62nd place among financial centres worldwide, improving its position by 4 places. The city continues to lead in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia region.

🇨🇳🤝🇰🇿 Yesterday, AIFC welcomed a delegation from China Construction Bank, one of the largest financial institutions in China. The meeting was attended by Mr. Sheng Liurong, CFO of the China Construction Bank headquarters, and Renat Bekturov, Governor of the AIFC.

During the official visit of the Armenian President, Vahagn Khachaturyan, both he and President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev toured the AIFC . I had the honour to brief the leaders on the AIFC`s activities and its role in attracting investment & promoting regional initiatives.
