Alongside spawning #coral SeaSim, we also spawn #CrownOfThornsStarfish! Each year the team raise >5 million larvae for their research. 📺 Dr K-le Gomez shows us how they check if the starfish are ♂️ or ♀️ and explains their research to answer “how old are you?”

We’re giving #coral spat an advantage against algae by applying an antifoulant to #reefrestoration seeding devices. Observations - corals grow normally on the antifoulant Results - coating reduces algal growth + improves coral survival rates👏 🔗 bit.ly/48GYqts #RRAP
