The Development Partners Gender Group (DPGG) convened a meeting to discuss and address the root causes of discrimination to advance the Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment agenda in Kenya(GEWE).

Kenya must hasten laws and policies that protect intersex persons. The Intersex Bill is long overdue, after a census that registered 1524 intersex persons. There's also a need to clearly differentiate sex and gender. #intersexrights

To ensure the successful implementation of this milestone, stakeholders and institutions need to increase awareness, support policy reforms and ensure inclusion. #IntersexRights
