Port and Airport Control Units in Kazakhstan have received #TruNarc analyzers, enabling faster drug and precursor detection, enhancing officer safety, and strengthening border security. With the support of Germany and Japan.

Fighting illicit trafficking requires smarter border and even stronger partnerships🤝 At the World BASC Org. Forum in Panama 🇵🇦, the PCCP signed a Letter of Intent to deepen collaboration with the private sector, protecting legitimate trade while enhacing security. UNODC ROPAN

Impressive work by Anti Narcotics Force, seizing 2.6 tons of opium disguised as raisins in a shipment from Afghanistan to Canada. We must remain vigilant as Afghan opiates continue to make their way to global markets. Sustained support by UN Office on Drugs & Crime and donors is key to addressing this threat.

🚨 In 2025, 📷 #PCCP supported port control units have already seized 59 tons of cocaine — 16.5 tons bound for Belgium. This week in Brussels, I’ll meet with the Prime Minister’s, Finance, Security & Interior, Foreign Affairs, and Justice cabinets to strengthen our joint efforts!
