Was super to share this work at #UKSF24 with great discussions generated. We need to understand, encourage & empower our patients & ensure rehab is accessible for more intensive practice. Big thanks to UHSussexResearch & the Chief Nurse Fellowship which enabled this project 🚀

Reflecting on a super 2 days at #UKSF24 making new & strengthening old connections & taking time out to think about how we can develop our services & ourselves to better support ppl recovering from stroke-importantly ensuring patients have the knowledge & skills to drive it 🚗 🎡

💫There is nothing better than fresh air 🍂✨️At the SRC we use our outdoor space as much as possible. During outdoor mobility practice patients focus on awareness of their surrounds & real-world skills for a safer, more independent life with the bonus of being in nature! 💚
