Excited to share our latest research, led by Weihua Cai, in collaboration with Amir Minerbi, Emmanuel Gonzalez, Irah King and many others. The gut microbiota promotes pain in fibromyalgia: Neuron cell.com/neuron/fulltex…

Very interesting study: disrupted gut microbiome in fibromyalgia (mouse & human data) supports the idea that improving gut microbe conditions may help. You can wait for more or just consume 1-3 servings low sugar fermented food daily per other findings cell.com/neuron/fulltex…

And if you don’t like the leap to the actionable, no problem. People have different thresholds for action. That said, we are seeing more and more data that improving your gut microbiome is a great idea and low sugar fermented foods are the way. (Even more than fiber but that too)

What if poop could treat chronic pain in humans? 💩😫 (🔗 to breakdown at the end, ht/ Andrew D. Huberman, Ph.D.) 1/8) I’m not joking. And as much as that question might sound comedic, it’s serious and scientifically legitimate. Pain comes in many differing flavors. Obviously, if you smash

Our new Nature Human Behaviour paper shows why we need a holistic pain biomarker framework. ML on blood tests, brain/bone imaging & genetics predicts clinical diagnoses but falls short on subjective pain. Adding psychosocial (mood, sleep, stress) boosts both. shorturl.at/vxxeO
