Last night, the Commission approved a resolution calling on DDOT DC to study the adoption of bike-friendly speed humps, for a smoother cycling experience. We drew inspiration from the design in Portland, OR (Portland Bureau of Transportation), which includes narrow channels for bikes to pass through:


On a briefing call yesterday with Mayor Muriel Bowser & team, we learned that: - National Guard deployment will be limited to federal properties - federal agents will be accompanied by MPD officers DC Police Department - federal agents operating in DC will be identifiable (uniforms/badges)
