Last night, the Commission approved a resolution calling on DDOT DC to study the adoption of bike-friendly speed humps, for a smoother cycling experience. On a briefing call yesterday with Mayor Muriel Bowser & team, we learned that: - National Guard deployment will be limited to federal properties - federal agents will be accompanied by MPD officers DC Police Department - federal agents operating in DC will be identifiable (uniforms/badges)

I have written to MPD leadership and the Deputy Mayor for Public Safety & Justice for confirmation that these three principles are true and, importantly, whether officers/staff have observed them actually being implemented faithfully on the ground in the past 48–72 hours.
