Meet Ellen Paniġuq Paneok, America’s first Indigenous woman to become a licensed pilot in Alaska. As a teenager, Ellen frequently skipped school to take flying lessons. She worked as a bush pilot, transporting everything from U.S. mail to live wolverines.
