Extended Producer Responsibility's (EPR) rollout should be speeded up Under EPR, the costs of dealing with plastic waste will be funded by packaging firms, so encouraging them to use less plastic We recommend EPR is applied to smaller packing firms by 2030 [8/10]

My article for Comment Central on the urgent need for Parliament to legislate to stop the scourge of microplastic pollution. 🌍 With cross party support from APPG Microplastics my #MicroplasticsBill would significantly reduce the pollution entering our rivers and oceans. 🌊

Plastic waste is littering our environment, harming wildlife, and polluting our soils, rivers and oceans. It’s time to #BeatPlasticPollution. This #WorldEnvironmentDay2023 I am calling for further action to make it easier for us all to use less, reuse more and recycle the rest.
