I'm sharing some teaching resources I’ve made recently. These scripts span a variety of intro topics in ML and comp neuro and are built to be intuitive, visual and assume little prior knowledge. Everyone’s welcome to use, learn from or adapt them (colab🔗s at the end of the🧵)!

1/5 Excited to finally share our new paper (led by Laura Driscoll, now a group leader at the Allen!) in Nature Neuroscience on modular computation in neural networks! We've explored how artificial recurrent networks handle multiple tasks, offering insights into flexible computation.

I find it strange that there's no Wikipedia page for Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit, despite its huge influence on ML/AI/CompNeuro. I've tried twice to create a basic one and gotten rejected both times for "lack of reliable sources".
