The vibrations generated by the Guns N' Roses concert in Barcelona, recorded by an ICGC. Generalitat seismometer located 500 meters from the Olympic Stadium. Data processed at GEO3BCN - CSIC. The different songs can easily be identified in the spectrogram.

Fantastic seminar today at University of Leicester, showing just how crucial seismology is for locating underground and underwater explosions, mine collapses and exploring other planets Geology at Leicester space-park.co.uk/2025/06/semina…

We totally agree! Seismology is a powerful tool with global and planetary importance. A great reminder of how essential Earth sciences are for understanding both natural and human-made events beneath the surface and beyond 🌍🌋 University of Leicester

First successful bat detection on my #πpistrelle bat detector in Leicester UK. I believe (and I'm no expert) that the descending frequency from a high of 100 kHz to a long trail at 50 kHz is the chirp of a #pipistrelle, probably a common one. 🦇🦇🦇 #bat
