Beginning April 1, 2025 the price of the Federal Carbon Tax has been brought to zero. ATCO Gas customers will see a 25-35 per cent reduction in annual natural gas service costs. ATCO remains committed to delivering safe, reliable and affordable natural gas service.

Natural gas service in Peers has been safely shut off in evacuated areas as a precautionary measure due to the wildfires. Crews will restore service and relight appliances once it's safe to return.

Red Deer customers near 49 Avenue and 76 Street may experience a service disruption due to a hit to our gas line by a third party. Gas in the area was turned off for safety. Crews are onsite to work on repairs and service restoration to customers is expected later today.
