Action from Sunday at Memorial Playing Field. Josh Beasant slogs a ball from just outside his off-stump over wide long-on for 6!π₯ Not a shot for the purist, but effective π Josh hit 2x6s and 3x4s in his 26 runs for Ascott-U-Wychwood Cricket Club

Superb patience & defensive technique from 12 year old βCβ for Ascott-U-Wychwood Cricket Club on Sunday. With the game lost, and fielders surrounding the bat, he made himself as difficult to dismiss as possible. After 10 overs of defiance he missed one, and walked off to a standing ovation π
