N53W is getting ready for the Romania mission at LSMD.

N53W is getting ready for a first IMG FLT in ROU. We try to orchestrate this based on the current SAT IMG. Plan of attack is a sweep to the W before heading NE. Mission CTRL tools could be better; this is using the routing in Windy to depict the approx location of lines.

N53W is just about to finish the S sector. Crew reports some remarkable plumes in one of the lines using the realtime methane detection.

N53W is RTB to LRBS after a successful first sortie over ROU SOUTH. We will regroup in the afternoon to check data quality of all acquired lines and come up with a cleanup plan for tomorrow.

After action analysis showing pre and post sortie states to document today’s achievements and the work ahead for tomorrow in ROU SOUTH.

N53W is currently hosted in the INCAS hangar and is in good company. Thanks to the INCAS (incas.ro) team for taking care of us and supporting this mission!

N53W is back at LRBS after another successful sortie this morning, acquiring the Sinca Forest site for Fagus silvatica studies across Europe and cleaning up all remaining flight lines in ROU SOUTH.

N53W is ready for a final mission in ROU, this time targeting a few lines in Transylvania before heading back to LSZH. We are having an early T/O to get access to the airspace before it gets restricted again. FCST storms over Hungary require an early passage back to LSZH.

N53W hit a few lines in Transylvania, including a cross-section of a few of the planned lines and is now RTB. Remaining FLT time to LSZH is close to 3 hours with the current headwind of 30 kts.

N53W is close to entering Hungarian airspace near Szeged, circumventing a thunderstorm to the N.
