AWOC East Kent Agree! We’re getting better at storing such forms in an accessible way but we’re not there yet, 👏👏for keeping up pressure to improve this, it’s essential

Unfortunately, the page linked says we need to know our “next of kin” which many #AWOCs just don’t have - gives the impression it is not directed at us and yet we are probably more likely than most to want to support Re-engage !

We have a stall here - if you are local, do visit us and say “hello” - we can’t help with your bills but we do understand the challenges of being #AWOC and can tell you about our meetings and how to get involved with us

How about putting that you don’t consent to assisted suicide in an ADRT? It’s presumably “treatment” so you can presumably refuse it!

And increasing numbers of us don’t HAVE younger relatives!

Looks fascinating - hope it comes south later. Many #AWOCs fear being unidentified if we die away from home without family to report us missing.

And ensure Kent County Council takes into account the particular needs of those without access to informal care! (Spoiler alert: not at all clear that they have noticed the growing number of #AWOCs so far.)

This is a classic example of how so much ACP advice ignores AWOCs - a huge invalid assumption hidden in plain sight when someone says first step is “talk to your family”!

It’s no longer #volunteersweek but still much needed!
