Leaning into the students' use of AI by building a writing tutor chatbot is turning out to be a game-changer. It finds their mistakes or weaknesses, asks for clarification, suggests edits, and basically does what I would love to do but don't have time to do for 100 students.

An observation: Even though my Japanese professor was fluent in English, I never emailed her in anything other than Japanese, because I wanted to demonstrate my ability, and also because I felt it was kind of disrespectful of her effort to teach me. ...Just an observation.
