More than ever I want to ask you to wear a face mask. #COVID19 cases are spiking in many states including GA and I am afraid that hospitals will be overwhelmed. Believe me, you DON’T want to get infected. Don’t be fooled, this is not a mild illness for many. #WearADamnMask

Loved seeing snippets of Pres Obama speak at Rep John Lewis's services. Reminded me of how much I miss him. Even better was seeing the huge, awesomely adorable smile on my elderly Black patient's face when he started talking. It made my heart happy. #stillabouthope

This was fascinating. Hope to never be in this situation, but I love having my eyes opened to this medical world so different from my own.

Can’t wait to implement these techniques when I have a team of my own next week! 😱 rapport and inclusivity matters SO much! If they learn anything at all from me, I hope it’s that healthcare is a team effort.

My good friend Manpreet Malik is one of the best people and docs I know. He is so passionate about bringing attention to the challenges immigrants in medicine face, and for good reason! The time for change is now!

Tried to think of a poetic way to talk about gratitude, but honestly who cares? I just had Thanksgiving dinner with my family after a rough couple of months. That’s all the matters. Thankful for their health and more time with them.

I never considered myself a hero. I never wanted to be hero. I signed up to help people—people who can’t help themselves. Instead I’m overwhelmingly helping people who won’t. My soul is tired.
