For everybody worried that RNA vaccines are now tested for the first time in humans. That is actually not the case. See list below. It is true that there is little long term safety data. But its not true that there is no long term safety data.

When the state of Kansas issued a mask mandate, 81 counties opted out. Researchers found that coronavirus infection rates rose sharply in the opt-out counties — while falling in areas that required masks. trib.al/mcTCDp2

Congrats to our Research Assistant Professor, Dr. Joshua Broussard, who gave a wonderful presentation titled "Desmosomes Pattern Cell Mechanics to Govern Epidermal Tissue Form and Function" at American Society for Cell Biology #cellbio2020 on Wednesday in the Epithelial Stem Cells subgroup!

If I get 1 viral tweet in life I hope this is it. My wife married an athlete, who had limitless energy and was a true partner. Then came ALS and she had to dress, shower and care for me. She has borne these burdens with incredible courage and strength. I love you Sandra Abrevaya.

In science it’s easier to generate data than insight. money & fancy technology can help generate lots of data but have no influence on how much insight is generated. Sometimes it feels like more & more papers in glam journals have lots of data but little insight. Not a good trend

Great to see how we can leverage all areas of biology for biomedical solutions! Phages were one of my first introductions into the wonders of biomedical sciences- I still think they are so cool! Thanks Lehigh University SEA-PHAGE program for sparking my love for science!
