Today, I visited the NIRA Somalia center in Hodan District, where staff were diligently serving the community by registering individuals and issuing ID cards to those previously registered. The visit aimed to encourage their efforts, ensure efficient & effective service delivery.

We’ve concluded a two-day workshop with service providers on using Hubiye, Somalia’s National ID Verification System. I encouraged participants to transfer the skills gained back to their institutions and accelerate the integration of digital ID into their services.

Today, NIRA DG & DDG welcomed Mr. Abdinasir Ibrahim, Secretary-General of the Upper House of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, and Mr. Ibrahim Ahmed, DG of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. They discussed enhancing collaboration and linking public services to the National ID.
